Meet Lumi
With over a decade of experience
My unwavering commitment is to harness my skills and gifts to help you feel at home in your body — and ultimately improve your quality of life.
Your body is the vessel through which you connect with those you love, your communities and the world at large.
When you experience pain or disconnection from your body, it hinders your ability to fully engage with life and be the authentic human you are meant to be.
My purpose is to activate your body's innate ability to heal and regenerate itself.
I believe that skilled and compassionate touch is a powerful form of medicine.
I’m Lumi, a first generation born New York native with mixed ancestry rooted in the Caribbean Islands.
I revere the Earth as a master healer and mentor. My journey alongside remarkable teachers from around the world, has deeply shaped my approach as a massage therapist, and I pay homage to them in every step of my practice.
My extensive experience as a lifelong dancer has intimately acquainted me with the human body, the art of touch, and the profound link between movement and healing.
I've discovered that there's an art to how the human body moves and responds to touch.
It's not merely about technique; it's about crafting a therapeutic experience that is as much an art form as it is a science.

A Message From Lumi
“In today's fast-paced world, stress has become an unavoidable companion in our lives. The toll it takes on our bodies, both physically and mentally, cannot be underestimated.
But there's good news: scientific studies have shown that massage can be a transformative tool in stress management, preventative care and improve overall quality of life.
Recent research has demonstrated a clear link between stress and the onset of numerous health issues. The findings reveal that chronic stress can significantly contribute to the need for surgeries, the development of pain conditions, and a host of other debilitating ailments.
Don't wait for stress to take a toll on your body. Be an active participant in your health, and prioritize preventive care. Your body will thank you.”
